Five modes.

Vera is task-specific. You pull up the Vera you need. Each mode has its own instructions and its own intake. All five pull from the same corpus: everything you have declared across every Build Something property.

  1. Advisor — for a decision you're stuck on.
  2. Coach — for something you're trying to get better at.
  3. Builder — for something you're trying to start.
  4. Critic — for work you've already made and want torn apart honestly.
  5. Curator — for your archive and your daily entries.

Picking a mode is itself a declaration of what you want from her.

ModeYou come withShe leaves you with
AdvisorA decision you're stuck onHer read on the real decision, and what you still don't know
CoachSomething you want to get better atA practice shape built from what has and hasn't worked for you
BuilderSomething you want to startThe smallest version worth making and the first thing that has to happen
CriticWork you've madeWhat's wrong, judged by the standard you chose
CuratorYour archive and daily entriesRanked candidates from what you gave her access to, and one pick

How the intake works: Vera asks these one at a time, in her own words, and the answer to each steers which comes next. She may skip a question the corpus already answers. Twenty is the ceiling per mode, not the count.
