Vera uses information only to provide and protect the service you ask for.
Information Vera handles
This may include your account email, conversations, projects, files you choose, settings, and basic service logs. If you connect Gmail or Outlook, Vera can access the mailbox information you approve, including message details, message content, and attachments. Sending access is requested separately.
How information is used
Vera uses this information to run your account, answer your requests, read the messages or files you choose, prepare or send email only after your confirmation, maintain security, and improve reliability. Vera does not sell personal information or use connected mailbox data for advertising.
Connected Google data
Vera’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Storage and sharing
Connection tokens are encrypted. Mailbox content is retrieved when you use a mailbox feature. Content may remain in a Vera conversation or project if you choose to use or save it there. Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate Vera, when you direct Vera to share it, or when legally required.
Your control
You can disconnect an email account to remove Vera’s stored access tokens. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your Vera data.
Security and changes
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No online system is completely risk-free. Material changes to this policy will be posted here with a new effective date.
